I really loved the birthday cake from Cheer me up. the 6' inch cake is enough for 10people, and especial the cake is not very sweet, and the cream is amazing.
I'm giving three stars because nothing was especially egregious, the process was really smooth, delivery well executed, customer service stellar, and it was a very pretty cake.
That being said I'm entirely dissatisfied with the end product.
The cake was strangely dry despite appearing moist and both the cake and frosting were largely tasteless and oddly greasy. The black frosting stained everything it touches and it wasn't even decorated the way I'd asked, looked nothing like I'd described, the only way I even knew they looked at my notes was that it was the right character. Again, it was pretty to look at, but it wasn't what I'd wanted.
No one finished a single piece and I don't know what I'll do with the rest, I don't like to waste food but no one will touch it.
